Chandrika Balakrishnan, December, 1950; 3 s.; Journalist; took active part in the struggle for independence and was jailed six times; Editor, Kaummudi, Trivandrum; Member, Coir Board of India, 1957-60; Convener, Tourist Advisory Committee, Government of Kerala, 1958; Member, Legislative Assembly of Travancore Cochin, 1954-56.
