Advisory Board and Charkha Sangh, Gandhi Sewa Sangh and Sarvodaya Samaj; Worked as the General Secretary of the Delhi Central Refugee Relief Committee in 1947; Underwent various terms of imprisonment for participating in the National Movement; Now President of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee; Member, First Lok Sabha, 1952—57.
