Saraswati Devi, May 15, 1954; 2 s. and 2 d.; Harijan Social worker; was in Government Service (Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance), 1952—77; resigned from the post of Assistant (Class II Officer) in February 1977; was M.P. and Minister in Agarwal College Union, Sikandrabad, 1951—52; President, Scheduled Caste Students Union, Sikandrabad; President, Jatav Sudhar Sabha, Sikandrabad; held many important executive posts in important Scheduled Caste organisations since 1952; President / Vice-President / General Secretary and Member of the Executive of many social, cultural and office associations.

Special interests:  Uplift of poor persons, women’s welfare and village development. 

Publications:  Written many articles for college magazines and newspapers.
