Parwatamma, 1956; 2 d.; Agriculturist & Legal Practitioner; held many party positions in the Congress; was Vice-President, Town Municipal Council, Yadgir for 7 years; President, (i) Taluk Development Board, Yadgir for 8 years; and (ii) Taluk Bar Association; Member, Karnataka State Transport Corporation Board for 3 years; was Director, Associated Cement Company Ltd. for one year; Member, Fifth Lok Sabha 1974—77.

Social activities: Held many positions in the educational and cooperative institutions.
