Social activities: Working for the uplift of rural masses; Organised rural electricity scheme for which the upland farmers voluntarily contributed Rs. 2 crores forming 50 per cent of the total cost of the project.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Service to the poor people particularly to the agricultural labourers in the villages.
Special interests: Establishing rural industries and cooperative societies in rural areas for the benefit of the weaker sections and agriculturists.
