Section-A

समाजशास्त्र के जनक कौन हैं ?
2. Who is the author of the book titled ‘Primitive culture’?
प्रिमिटिव कल्चर नामक पुस्तक के लेखक कौन हैं ?
3. Mention the types of family on the basis of number of the members of the family.
परिवार के सदस्यों की संख्या के आधार पर परिवार के प्रकारों का उल्लेख कीजिये |
4. Write the three aims of marriage.
विवाह के तीन प्रमुख उद्देश्य लिखिए |
5. Give the name of four scheduled tribes of Rajasthan.
राजस्थान के तीन प्रमुख अनुसूचित जनजातियों के नाम बताइए |
6. Show the two main functions of kinship in society.

Section-B
(Short Answer Type Questions) – लघु उत्तर वाले प्रश्न
Note: Answer any four questions. Each answer should not exceed 100 words. Each question carries 3 marks. 4×3=12
नोट: निम्नलिखित में से किन्हीं 4 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए| आप अपने उत्तर को अधिकतम 100 शब्दों में परिसीमित कीजिये| प्रत्येक प्रश्न 3 अंकों का है|
1. Describe the importance and causes of the study of primitive society.
आदिम समाजों के अध्यनन के महत्त्व तथा कारणों की विवेचना कीजिये|
2. Differentiate between sociology and social anthropology.
समाजशात्र तथा सामाजिक मानवशास्त्र में अंतर कीजिये|
3. Highlight the functions of the family.
परिवार के प्रकार्यों को उजागर कीजिये |
4. State the major characteristics of religion.
धर्म की प्रमुख विशेषताएँ बताइए |
5. Define scheduled tribe. Give the salient features of scheduled tribes.
अनुसूचित जनजाति को परिभाषित कीजिये | अनुसूचित जनजाति की मुख्य विशेषताओं का उल्लेख कीजिये

(Long Answer Type Questions) – (दीर्घ उत्तर वाले प्रश्न)
Note: Answer any two questions. You have to delimit your each answer maximum up to 400 words. Each question carries 06 marks.
नोट : निम्नलिखित में से किन्हीं 02 प्रश्नों का उत्तर दीजिए|आपको अपने प्रत्येक उत्तर को अधिकतम 400 शब्दों में परिसीमित करना है| प्रत्येक प्रश्न 06 अंकों का है| 2×6=12
1. Write the four definitions of social anthropology. Discuss the relationship between sociology and social anthropology.
सामाजिक मानवशास्त्र की चार परिभाषाएं लिखिये| समाजशात्र तथा सामाजिक मानवशास्त्र के मध्य संबंधों की विवेचना कीजिये |
2. What do you mean by family? Explain the evolutionary theory of the origin of the family .
परिवार से आप क्या समझते हैं ? परिवार की उत्पति के उद्विकासीय सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिये |
3. Define religion. Outline the major functions of the religion.
