JEE Main Important Dates: 2019
Important dates for JEE Main 2019 has been released by NTA (National Testing Agency) in pursuance with Human Resource Development (HRD, Government of India). JEE Main Entrance exam is treated as most crucial engineering entrance exam in India and more than one million students appeared this entrance examination in the year 2018, 2017, and 2016 where as in 2015 there were 1.35 million students were in fray. In JEE Main 2018, 2,31,024 were qualified for JEE Advanced 2018 where as in JEE Main 2017 number of students qualified for the same is 2,21,427. In 2016 the number of qualified students stood at 1,98,228. Till 2018 authority to conduct JEE Main was with CBSE. Now National Testing Agency has been formed to conduct JEE Main 2019 and some national level examination. Almost all engineering aspirants apply for JEE Main Entrance Exam.
It has been also clarified that JEE Main 2019 will be conducted only in Online mode. It will be a computer based test. JEE Main will be conducted twice in a year. JEE Main I will be conducted on January 2019 where as JEE Main II will be conducted in April 2019. Starting from application every process of JEE Main 2019 will be in Online mode. Students should be very much careful while filling up JEE main application form as any mistake in the JEE main application form may not be rectified during later period.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2019) is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted by Joint Admission Board (JAB) to provide admission in NITs, IIITs, funded technical institutions, etc. The next level exam is JEE Advanced which is appeared by top candidates of JEE Main 2019 and this exam is meant for admission into IITs in India.

JEE Main 2019 shall have two papers, Paper-1 for B.E / B.Tech candidates where as Paper-2 for B.Arch / B.Planning candidates. Paper 2 can only be appeared through offline mode (Pen and Paper based test). A candidate can appear both Paper 1 and paper 2 as per their preference. The candidates who have also opted for Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.) of JEE (Main), are advised to bring their own clip board, geometry box set, pencils, erasers and colour pencils or crayons.
