Eligibility for JIPMER PG:
Educational Qualification:
All the candidates who are applying for JIPMER PG entrance exam should be posses a MBBS degree form a medical college recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI). Additionally, candidates need to complete 1 year (12 months) compulsory internship or practical training on or before 30th June 2018. Candidates will not be considered if they fail to satisfy these conditions.
Qualifying marks:
For Unreserved and OBC candidates aggregate is 55% where as for SC/ST aggregate mark is 50%. If a OPH candidate belong to SC/ST then aggregate mark is 50% and if the OPH candidate belong other than SC/ST, aggregate mark is 55%.
Application status:
If a candidate has completed MD/MS from any subject and in any institution are not eligible for admission in MD/MS courses.

How to apply:
JIPMER will accept application form in Online mode only. Students need to visit JIPMER WEBSITE for online application.
Hall ticket:
Hall ticket for JIPMER PG entrance examination will be available in JIPMER WEBSITE on 30th April 2018 after 11 am. Hall ticket
JIPMER PG entrance exam pattern:
JIPMER PG entrance exam will be conducted on 13th May 2018. The entrance test will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be held Online. Duration of Exam is 3 hours and conducted in One shift. Board has chosen 11 cities in which exam will be conducted. JIPMER PG entrance question papers will be in English only. All the question papers will be objective type (MCQs). Total questions will be 250. Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and (-1) mark for each wrong answer.

Application Fees:
Application fee to appear entrance exam is mentioned below. Fees will be collected in online mode only. Three options are there to pay the application fee. Those are (a) Net Banking (b) Debit Card (c) Credit card. Applicable transaction fee will be added to Application fee.

Test Centres:
11 cities has been identified to conduct JIPMER PG entrance examination. Applicants can choose 3 cities of their choice to appear the exam.
