The candidate must have an enrolment an advocate in Bar Council from any State or Union Territory. The aspirant must know to read, write and speak Bengali.

Exam Pattern:

            The Preliminary exam consist of one paper with 200 questions with 200 marks and two and half hours time duration .The exam is of objective type. The main exam consists with eight compulsory papers and it this three papers are optional subject papers chosen by the candidate. The marks for each paper I 100 with three hour time duration .The paper I of descriptive type. The marks for Personal Interview I 100 mark. The eligible candidates are selected for the personal Interview.

Civil Service Examination

       The examination is conducted for four groups, Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D. The posts are Commercial Tax officers, Excise officers, Block Development Officers, Food and Supply Officers, Agricultural Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:

            The candidate must be the citizen of India. The aspirant must have a age limit between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation based on the norm of the commission. The candidate must possess a degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Exam Pattern:

          The preliminary exam consists of one paper of objective type with 200 questions with 200 marks and two and half hours time duration. The main exams consist of six compulsory papers with one optional paper for Group A and B. The paper I and II are written type while the other papers are objective type. The mark allotted for various group are

    Group A: 200 marks

   Group B: 200 marks

   Group C: 150 marks

   Group D: 100 marks

             The mark will be reduced to 10% as the candidate disclosed his/her identity. There is negative marking for the preliminary paper. The merit based candidates are moved to the personal Interview.

Combined Competitive Examination

       The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of Junior Engineers in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

Eligibility Criteria:

      The aspirant must be an Indian. He/She must possess a diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate must be between 20 to 30 years. The final year students can also apply to the posts. The candidate should know to read, write and speak in Bengali.

Exam Pattern:

      The written examination consists of 100 questions with 200 marks with two hours time duration. Each question carries 2 marks each. For personal interview, the candidate the score is 100 marks.

    The candidate must be the citizen of India. The age limit of the candidate must be between 21 to 30 years. The candidate must possess a graduation in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. There is age relaxation for candidate as per the norms. How to fill the OMR Sheet       

  • Fill the necessary details like Name, Date of Birth, Register Number in the OMR sheet
  • Darken the bubble corresponding as the right answer
  • Every right answer contains one mark
  • Every wrong answer will lose 1/3 rd for wrong answer
  • Marking more than one answer will result in negative marks

MIZORAM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

     Mizoram Public Service Commission was established in the year 2 February 1987.The Commission was developed to appoint honest officers for the different posts in The State government. The First Chairman for the commission was An IAS officer of Orissa. At present the commission consists one chairman and two members. The exams conducted by the commission are,Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC)

  4. Group B Examination

Civil Service Examination

       The examination is conducted for the posts of Police Officers, Sub Collectors, Tehilsdars, Administrative Officers and Block Development Officers.

Eligibility Criteria:

       The Applicant must be the citizen of India. He/she must have a degree from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years.

Selection Procedure:

     The various selection procedures are

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:

       The preliminary Exam consists one paper of objective type with 100 marks for the paper with time duration of one hour .The Main Exam consists of six compulsory papers with 100 marks each paper and optional paper consists of two papers with 100 marks for each paper. There is penalty for each wrong answer for objective papers. The eligible candidates are shortlisted to the interview process. The interview process marks are 100.

Engineering Service Examination

       The examination is conducted for the posts of Assistant Engineers in various departments like civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

Eligibility Criteria:

      The Aspirant must be the citizen of India. The aspirant must have a graduation in engineering from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years. The aspirant must have knowledge of mizo language up to the middle School level.

Selection Procedure:

   The stages of selection are

  • Main Examination
  • Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:

     The Written Examination consists of three papers. The three papers are Engineering/Architecture based paper which of of objective type with 200 marks each. The General studies papers are Objective paper with 100 marks each with three hours each. The General English paper is conventional paper with three hours time duration with 100 marks. The personal Interview will contain 100 marks. The examination must be in English language only.

Medical Officer Examination

      The examination is conducted for the posts of doctors in various branches like Allopathy, Ayurvedic.

Eligibility Criteria:

  The candidate must be the citizen of India. The candidate must have M.B.B.S from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years. The Service experience of the candidate is must in rural areas of Mizoram for one year.

Selection Procedure:

   The selection procedure consists

  • Written Examination
  • Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:

      The Written Examination consists of five compulsory papers. The two papers are General English and General Studies with 100 marks for each paper. The three technical papers consist of 200 marks for each paper. There is no negative marking. The written examination must be in English only.

Group B Examination

     The examination is conducted for the posts of clerks, peons, typists

Eligibility Criteria:

      The candidate must be the citizen of India. The candidate must have a degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Selection Procedure:

     The selection procedure consists of general Competitive examination

Exam Pattern:

    The Written Examination consists of three papers of General Studies of 100 marks .The General studies Paper I and II of 150 marks each. These are objective type question papers.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Exams and Jobs Notifications

 

BIHAR PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

        The Bihar Public Service Commission was setup in the year 1st April 1949 after its separation from the states of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. The Headquarters of the commission was initially in Ranchi and later on it was moved to Patna in the year1st March 1951.The Commission consists of one chairman and four members. The exams conducted by the commission are,Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)

Combined Competitive Examination

      The examination is conducted for the posts of Police Officers, Sub Collectors, Tehilsdars, Administrative Officers and Block Development Officers.

Eligibility Criteria:

     The Aspirant must be the citizen of India. He/she must have a degree from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years. In case SC/ST candidate, the upper age limit for the candidate is 32 years. Physically challenged Candidates, The upper age limit is 33 years. The candidate must have passed Hindi in his/her Middle School level.

Selection Procedure:

     The various selection procedures are

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:

     The Preliminary exam consists of objective type questions. The 150 objective type questions with two hours time duration. The Main examination consists of four papers .The first paper is for Hindi language. The other papers are General Studies paper with 200 marks each with three hours time duration. The Interview process consists of 150 marks .The shortlisted candidates are selected from the examinations.

Departmental Examination

Eligibility Criteria:

      The Aspirant must be the citizen of India. He/she must have a degree from a recognized University/Institution. The age limit of the candidate is between 21 to 30 years. The experienced candidates can have an age limit up to 40 years. SC/ST candidate, the upper age limit for the candidate is 32 years. The Physically challenged Candidates, The upper age limit is 33 years. The candidate must have passed Hindi in his/her Middle School level.

Selection Procedure:

     The selection procedures are

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:

        The Preliminary exam consists of objective type questions. The exam consists of 100 questions of aptitude test with 2 hours time duration. The Main examination consists of four compulsory papers with two papers of conventional written type and other two technical papers with three hours time duration for each paper. The eligible candidate for the paper is selected for the Interview process. The interview process is used to know the physical skills, the ability of the candidate to solve the problems of the candidate.
