Shrimati Kamla Dwivedi, December 4, 1932; 3 S. and 1 D.; Agriculturist; Ex-Chairman, Esagarh Municipal Board; Entered into active politics in 1944; Courted arrest by leading a batch of satyagrahis demanding Responsible Government in Gwalior State in 1946; Arrested again in 1948 in connection with the murder of Mahatma Gandhi; Detained under the Preventive Detention Act for one year but released after five months.
