Social activities.—Specially amongst the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and other Backward communities in West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, and Assam, mainly among the Agriculturists and labour in coal-mining and tea garden labour.

Hobbies.—Photography, gardening, poultry, reading, travelling and writing articles.

Favourite pastime and recreation.—Hunting and fishing.

Special interests.—Sociology and psychology.
