Labour Advisory Board; President, Bharatiya Kala Mandir, Warangal; Vice-President, Warangal Zilla Parishad and Member, Finance Sub-Committee; Member, Second Lok Sabha, 1957-62; Courted imprisonment as a first Satyagrahi in Hyderabad State 1938; Joined the Individual Satyagraha in the Quit India Movement in 1942 and courted arrest. Organised at great risk armed opposition to the atrocities of Razakars in 1947; Was arrested and sentenced to fourteen years rigorous imprisonment.
Social activities: Took part in starting night schools, opening Public Libraries, Constructing Wells for Harijans, Tribal and backward communities and helped in the eradication of diseases and establishment of Primary Health Centres. Also took part in the Community Development Programmes and Panchayat Raj and in the establishment of Regional Medical and Engineering Colleges; the Industrial Estate and Warehouses in Warangal and the Kothagudem Fertilizer Factory.
Hobbies: Gardening, Swimming and Drawing; Organise Horn of drama and music concerts and Ballads, Puppet Shows and Sports as educational programmes in rural areas.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Social gatherings and Cultural activities, Physical feats, Study of Hindi and Aryan Literature.
Special interests: Service to Harijans and backward people. Social reforms particularly widow remarriage, inter-caste marriages and abolition of dowry system. Hindi Prachar. Rural uplift. Settling Trade Union and Public disputes.
Sports and clubs: Member, Municipal Club; Connected with Rashid Memorial Tournament. Founder of Vyayamshala at Warangal for youths.
