Rama Kashyap, May, 1952; 3 s. and 5 d.; Advocate; previously associated with Republican Party of India (Ambedkarvadi) and Shoshit Samaj Dal; President, (i) Republican Party of India (Ambedkarvadi), Uttar Pradesh, 1968-74; and (ii) Shoshit Samaj Dal, Uttar Pradesh, 1974-75; General Secretary, All India Muslim Majils, 1979; President, Akhil Bharatiya Sarwadhik Pichhda Varg Sangh, 1979-80 and continuing; presently Member, Committee on Subordinate Legislation.  

Social activities : To organise and serve communities like Harijans, Adivasis, Kisans, Labourers, Backward Classes, most Backward Classes, Kashyap, Nishad, Machhua (fishermen), Dheawar, Mallah, Kewat, Binda, Gond, Kahar, etc.  

Favourite pastime and recreation : Wielding Lathi, Sword, Spear etc.  

Special interests : Service of Backward and most Backward Classes, Harijans, Adivasis, etc: also interested in Indian literature and Ambedkarvad (thoughts of Dr. Ambedkar).
