Special activities: Organisation of the unorganised weaker sections of society and encouraging the spread of education amongst the illiterates; helped in the establishment of Millat High School at Sarveli P.S. Amour, District Purnea and construction of Harijan Upper Primary School Building in (i) Kishanganj, (ii) Ghat Burdwan Toti and (iii) Juljuli; upliftment of the downtrodden and improving the conditions of havenots; donated land to Harijans and landless under Bhoodan Movement.
