Special interests:  Organisational work for the Welfare of Backward Classes particularly for the Scheduled Tribes; regeneration of tribal religion and extension of help to them for getting an honourable position in the society.  

Sports:  Football.  

Travels abroad:  U.K., France, United Arab Republic (now Arab Republic of Egypt) Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Uganda, Kenya, German Democratic Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, Sweden, Austria, Australia and Singapore.
