Rajkumari Ninisana Devi, 1939: 3 S. and 2 D.; General Secretary, Manipur Sahitya Parishad, 1940—49; Ex-Secretary, Manipur Samaj Sewa Sangha; Elected to the Manipur State Constitution Making Committee in 1946; General Secretary, Manipur State Congress, from 1947; Elected General Secretary, All Assam Minorities Co-ordinating Committee, in April, 1948; Vice-President, Surma Valley Branch of the Indian National Trade Union Congress, 1949; Member, Assam P.C.C., 1950; Nominated member, Manipur State Advisory Council, 1950, but resigned due to differences with the Chief Commissioner; Member, A.I.C.C.
