Randhan Murmu, May 25, 1946; Agriculturist, Social and Political Worker; participated in freedom struggle in 1942 and was jailed for 6 months; Minister of State for Agriculture, Minor Irrigation, Animal Husbandry and Revenue, Government of Bihar; Vice-Chairman, Santhal Pahadia Sewa Mandal, Deoghar, Bihar; Member, it Governing Body of Deoghar, Godda and Dhamari Colleges, (ii) Bhagalpura University Senate and (iii) Advisory Committee of Ranchi Radio Station; President, Secretary and Member of various High Schools; Member, Bihar Public Service Commission, 1976-77; Member, (i) Bihar Legislative Council, 1960-72 and 1980-85 and (ii) Bihar Legislative Assembly, 1972-76; Chairman, Bihar Legislative Council, July 1980—January 12, 1985, Member, Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, 1985-86.
