Social activities: As a trade unionist and a social worker, rendered welfare services to workers and the people and got several libraries, colleges and hospitals established in Jamshedpur and Sindri; Member, Shri Aurobindo Society Pondichery, since 1962.
Hobbies: Kitchen gardening, cooking and travelling.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Yoga.
Special interests: Rendering personal service to the poor and the needy.
Travels abroad: Europe. U.S.A., Japan, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Honolulu.
