Hobbies: Reading of Gandhian and Nehru literature, painting and drawing in water colour.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Horticulture and kitchen gardening.
Special interests: Uplift of destitute women and orphan children, village uplift and active participation in, Sarvodaya programmes.
Accomplishments in letters, art and science: Gold Medalist in Fine Arts, short story writer and Vidushi (Pandit) from Sharda Niketan.
