Read the passage given below and answer the questions 72 to 75 :

      The beautiful Kumarakom starting from 1989 was facing the pressure of resort developers towards back-water ecosystem for tourism. Truly, the introduction of backwater tourism enhanced the local Panchayat revenue towards Rs 20 lakhs per year, but the impact was so heavy that the local farmers were tempted to sell their land at an inflated price and get displaced.
