AIPGMEE Medical Entrance 2016 Eligibility:
1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
2. A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
3. Candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh are not eligible for 50% All India Quota. However, the candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that he/she was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir to the Deputy Director(Examinations) National Board of Examinations, India.
COMEDK Medical PG Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission in any constituent medical college of COMEDK shall have to appear COMEDK PG Entrance. The eligibility conditions for appearing COMEDK PG Medical Entrance are as follows:
a) meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI from time to time.
b) have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
c) have completed or be completing their internship by 30th April 2016 at the latest.
d) have obtained permanent registration with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council.
e) The candidature of the following is not acceptable:-
(i) Candidates already holding a PG Degree in any specialty; Dated: 15/09/2015
(ii) Candidates pursuing a PG Degree / Diploma in any clinical specialty after securing the seat through COMEDK in the earlier years;
(iii) Candidates selected a seat through COMEDK earlier and failed to join the college so selected or failed to surrender the said seat at the COMEDK level or having joined the college failed to pursue the course; and
(iv)Candidate debarred by COMEDK during the previous years.
JIPMER Medical PG 2016 Eligibility:
(a) Nationality :
i) Indian Nationals (IN):- Applicant must be an Indian National.
ii) For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI):- OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals given in this Prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate should submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of counseling.
iii) Foreign Nationals (FN) Foreign candidates are required to route their application through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. All foreign nationals will have to take prior permission from the Medical Council of India before applying for postgraduate Courses in the Institute. An advance copy of the application AND copy of request to MCI must be submitted at JIPMER, Puducherry before the last date of receipt of applications. In the events of selection, the candidate has to apply for temporary registration with the medical council of India for the duration of postgraduate study.
(b) Educational Qualification:
The candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India. (c) Experience: A candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship / Practical training on or before 31st December 2015 [*Candidates not completing the internship on or before 31-12-2015 need not apply for January 2016 session. No condonation of Compulsory Rotating Internship beyond this date shall be accepted].
