CM will hoist tricolor in Mohali
SAS Nagar: Deputy Commissioner Girish Daylan today reviewed the arrangements well in advance for Republic Day at Government College, Phase-6. He reviewed the models of the tableaus made by different departments and advised them to make changes in stipulated time frame.
Advising all the departments in line with the function to follow the timeline, Daylan said that Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh would hoist the tricolor in Mohali. Therefore, arrangements should be made well in advance and lacking in duty would not be tolerated regarding the function. He asked police officials to ensure the presence of band and preparations of march past & security arrangements in advance. He also asked the health & other departments to accomplish its responsibilities regarding food testing teams, ambulances in timely manner.
During the meeting, ADC (D) Aashika Jain, SDM Jagdeep Saigal, Assistant Commissioner (General) Yashpal Sharma, Civil Surgeon Manjit Singh, DSP (Traffic) Guriqbal Singh, District Social Security Officer Ravinder Singh Rahi, District Education Officer Himmat Singh Hundal, District Welfare Officer Sukhsagar Singh and the Divisional Forest Officer Gur Amanpreet Singh were also present.
