Government school teacher from village Sadhuwala booked under str

Faridkot: Sadak police of district Faridkot has registered a case against one teacher of government primary school Sadhuwala for sexually assaulting an 11 years old girl.

The case has been registered after 80 days after the complaint.

The teacher is a resident of Bhan Singh Colony of Faridkot town.

The police have registered a case under POSCO against the accused on the complaint of the mother of the victim, an 11 years old girl from the village.

The complainant has alleged  that the accused penetrated his finger into the private organs of the girl when she used to go him  to get her note books checked. The accused also forced the girl to touch upon his private organs during that time.

“The teacher also behaved like that with some other girls of the school and threatened them not to speak about it with anybody,’ reads the complaint by the mother of the victim, a resident of village Sadhuwala village..

The incident had taken place on March 11,2020 on which the Sadak police have registered a case against the accused teacher on May 29,2020.

Punjab Tribune repeatedly  tried to contact the IO Mrs Jagnadeep Kaur , but the attendant of the call said that it was a wrong number.

SHO Sadak also could not be contacted on his official phone number.

When contacted, DEO Primary Kuljeet Tahin said that he was not aware about the incident.

The government and private schools had been closed due to curfew in Punjab since March 22 to till date.

The teacher has been booked under section 3/4 of  Protection of children from sexual offences besides 354( Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty)of IPC.

As per the police record, the accused is yet to be arrested.

Section 3 and 4 of protection of children from sexual offences has a maximum jail term up to 10 years and considered to be a serious offence.
