Shrimati Chinnava, 1919 and Shrimati Tarabai, 1929; 3 S. and 4 D.; Agriculturist; Secretary, Taluka Development Association, and Vice-Chairman, Bijapur District Central Co-operative Bank (1929-30); Honorary First Class Magistrate, Bijapur (1937-39); Resigned the magistracy in 1939 and signed Satyagraha pledge; Minister, Aundh State (1940); Prime Minister, Aundh State (1941—47); Member, Land Improvement Enquiry Committee, Government of Bombay (1946-47); Ex-Member, States People’s Conference; Vice-Chairman of the Bijapur District Rural Development Board for 3 years; President, Bijapur District Congress Committee (since December 1950); Member, District Prohibition Committee, District Minor Irrigation Committee, District, Fodder and Grazing Committee; Member, Aundh State Legislative Assembly (1940-47); Member, First Lok Sabha (1952-57).
