Legislative Assembly for 9 years; Member, Constituent Assembly, Provisional Parliament, First Lok Sabha, 1952—57 and Second Lok Sabha, 1957—62; Minister, Revenue and Expenditure upto 16th March, 1953, Minister of Defence Organisation upto April 1957; Chairman, Public Accounts Committee since June 1962.
