ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

        The admission for IIT Delhi is done through a Joint Entrance Examination conducted for undergraduate courses. The eligibility is based on the 10 +2 marks scored. The JEE consists of two parts JEE main and JEE advanced. JEE Main is conducted for Indian Institute of Information Technology and JEE advanced is conducted for Indian Institute of Technology. The students who have passed JEE Main are eligible for JEE advanced.

       JEE Main exam consists of two papers .Paper I is for B.E/B.Tech courses and Paper II is for B.Arch and B.Planning courses. The paper consists of 30 multiple choice questions. There is negative marking for each wrong answer.

JEE Advanced

  • The Pattern consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2

  • Paper II consists of 60 questions with 240 marks
  • Language of medium will be both English and Hindi
  • Main subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • There will be negative marking for wrong answers
  • The questions will be objective type and numerical type questions
