ARUNACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

           Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established in the year 1st April 1988 .The headquarters is currently located in Vidhan Vihar, Itanagar. The Commission is serviced as they are interested in recruiting the candidates for the government Sector. As per the regulations of the commission, the main mission is to promote, transfer and recruit the candidates .The commission consists of one chairman, three members and one secretariat The exams conducted by the commission are,Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)

  1. Assistant Engineer Examination
  2. Combined Competitive Examination
  3. Fishery officer and Extension officer Examination

Combined Competitive Examination

     The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of education, Medical and other technical posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

     The candidate must be the citizen of India The age limit of the candidate should not be below 21 year and not above 38 years. The candidate must hold a degree from the affiliated university/Institution respective of the posts. There is age relaxation for.

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Physically challenged candidates: 10 years
  • OBC: 3 years

The candidate must be familiar to the regional language

Selection Process:

     The Selection Procedure consists of three stages,

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Interview

Exam Pattern:

       The Written Examination consists of both objective and conventional essay type. The General English and General Studies are of 150 marks with two hours time duration. The marks scored for personal interview is 50.The shortlisted candidate will be attending the interview process.

Assistant Engineering Examination

     The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of Assistant Engineers in various departments like Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

Eligibility Criteria:

     The Aspirant must be the citizen of India the Aspirant must hold a degree qualification based on their respective posts from a recognized University/ Institution. The age limit for the higher Official will be referred on the notification of the job. Age relaxation will also be specified in the notifications. The candidate should know the regional language.

Selection Procedure:

  • Written Examination
  • Interview

Exam Pattern:

      The examination consists of Two Section papers with objective and conventional essay type. The Section I consists of general Ability and Technical Subject papers with 200 marks and three hours time duration. The Section II papers are Technical papers with 200 marks and three hours time duration. The shortlisted candidate are moved to the interview process.

Fishery officer and Extension officer Examination

       The examination is mainly conducted for the posts of fishery and Extension officer.

Eligibility Criteria:

     The Aspirant must be the citizen of India the Aspirant must hold a degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University/Institution. The final year students are eligible to attend the examination. The age limit for the higher Official will be referred on the notification of the job. Age relaxation will also be specified in the notifications. The candidate should know the regional language.

Selection Procedure:

  • Written Examination
  • Interview

Exam Pattern:

  • The examination consist of four papers
  • General English
  • General Knowledge
  • Fishery Science paper I
  • Fishery Science II

            Each papers carries 100 mark each with 2 hours time duration the viva voce is of 50 marks. The candidate must secure a minimum of 33% in the written examination are eligible for the interview process.

  • Download the application form
  • Fill the form with all the necessary details
  • Attested the SSLC and Higher Secondary education qualification certificates
  • Attested copy of certificate and Mark sheet of Bachelor’ Degree
  • No objection certificate in case the candidate is in Service
  • Copy of demand draft
  • Send to the address given the application form before the date provided in the advertisement
