Social activities:  Interested in Khadi and Village Industries and general improvement of Villages economically, socially and educationally Founded general hostels and hostels for Schedule Classes, rural high schools, farmars Cooperative societies etc.; Interested in Harijan Welfare and success of prohibition programme; Interested in the discipline and education of student class; Interested in elevating village life and acted as arbitrator in several village disputes.

Hobbies:  Gardening.
