Medical Entrance Exams 2016 in India, guidance:

           Medical Entrance Exams 2016 are conducted at State, National and University level for the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Medical courses. These Medical exams are conducted to filter out the best students to pursue Medical course in well known Medical colleges in the country. MCI (Medical Council of India), Delhi is responsible for the Medical education in India. Under its supervision, there are many National Level Medical entrance tests conducted in India. In accordance to that, there are list of Medical entrance examinations which are conducted on the basis of examination level and graduate type. According to the Examination level, these Entrance tests are divided into 6 units as follows:

 

  • UG National level Medical Entrance test 2016:

  • AIIMS MBBS:

                   This stands for All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination. It seems that application for AIIMS MBBS 2016 will be available from March 2016. Students will get admission in any 7 AIIMS institutes of India on the basis of their performance in the above Test. Total number of MBBS seats allocated for AIIMS institutes are around 672. The exam is said to be held on 1st week of June 2016.

  • AIIMS Nursing:

               This is an All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance examination for nursing course. AIIMS conducts entrance test on various courses and nursing is one among them. This exam is commonly known as AFMC BSc Nursing. This is said to be held on June 2016.

  • AIPMT:

               This stands for All India Pre-Medical Test. This exam is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi. AIPMT 2016 will be conducted on May 2016(Tentative date). Being an entrance exam for the dental courses too, it is also known as AIPDT(All India Pre-Dental Test).

              National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for under graduate level. This exam is also conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. Mostly this test is held on the month of May of every year.

  • EAMCET:

              This stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test widely known as EAMCET 2016 which is state level exam. This exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Technological University, Kakinada. This exam is to be held on May 2016.

 

  • GCET:

                Goa CET 2016 is State Level Entrance Examination conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education). This exam is conducted for the admission of MBBS, Engineering, Agriculture and Homeopathy. Exam is on May 2016.

  • GUJCET:

              Gujarat Common Entrance Test which is popularly known as GUJCET 2016 is conducted for the admission in the fields of MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, Ayurveda, Nursing, etc. This entrance exam will also be around May 2016.

 

  • MHT CET Medical:

              Just like above State exams, this is a Entrance test conducted by Maharashtra Government. Thus, this Exam stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. This exam is also to be held on May 2016.
