NITTE University notified an advertisement for UG Entrance Exam NUUGET – 2015 for the academic year 2015-16. Candidates who are interested to pursue MBBS & BDS course can apply for the entrance exam on or before 25th April 2015.

 

Name of the Entrance Exam:

All India Entrance Test for UG Courses, NUUGET-2015.

 

Duration of the Exam:

3 hours (10.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m)

 

Admission to colleges through Entrance Exam:

1. K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and
2. A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences

 

Allotment of Seats:

MBBS (4 ½ years + 1 year Internship) – 150 Seats (Subject to Govt. Notification)

BDS (4 years +1 year Internship) – 100 Seats

Application Fee Details:

The candidates are required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 1500/- (Non-Refundable) through ONLINE PAYMENT/ Demand Draft (any Nationalized Bank) in favour of NITTE UNIVERSITY, payable at Mangalore.

 

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen with minimum age of 17 years as on 31/12/2015
• Must have passed 2nd year Pre – University or 12th standard or its equivalent examination after 2013 with P/C/B (Optional Subjects) and English subject (Mandatory) scored an aggregate of 50% in PCB altogether. (40% SC/ST candidates)
• Candidates who are appearing for the prescribed qualifying examination and expecting the minimum percentage of marks as at (1) are also eligible to apply.

 

Selection Process

The selection of candidates, is dependent on the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court on NEET.
