Major Zoiba S. Rane Sardesai, December 6, 1945; 4 s. (including one who was killed in Bangladesh Action and was awarded Vir Chakra posthumously); Housewife and Social Worker; was a Member, (i) Army Welfare Centre, Bhuj, 1952-59 and (ii) Mahila Mandal, Bhuj, 1953-59; Secretary, Maharani Shanta Devi Gaikwad Graha Shastra Sanstha, Kolhapur, 1967—69; presently Member, (i) Family and Child Welfare Centre, Bicholim, Goa since 1974, (ii) Mahila Imdad, Goa Branch since 1977 and (iii) Mid-day Meal Programme of Mine-Labourers’ Children of North Goa, since 1976.
