School of Planning and Architecture Entrance Examination


School of Planning and Architecture was established in the year 1941 by the Department of Architecture. Later it was affiliated by University of Delhi and joined with the School of Town and Country Planning to plan and develop rural, urban and cities. In 1979, Government of India referred it as a Deemed University along with Ministry of Education and Culture. The admission for the university is done through JEE Entrance Examination. The admission is done for the following branches;

  • B.Arch (Industrial Design)

  • Building Engineering and Management


The candidate must have passed 10th and 12th with 50%aggregate in every subject and Mathematics as the main subject. The students who have appeared 12th in current year can also apply.

Exam Syllabus

The students have to cover all the subjects from Higher Secondary Level mainly based on CBSE syllabus.

Exam Pattern

The question paper consists of questions from Mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test. The Questions are objective type and drawing type. There is penalty for each wrong answer. Time duration is three hours. Number of attempts for the entrance is three. The selected candidates from the JEE Main has to prefer the University at the time of Counseling. The candidates has to submit the following documents at the time of Counseling;

  • Character Certificate
  • JEE Main Admit Card
  • JEE Main Rank Card
  • Photocopy of Confirmation page at the time of registration
  • 10th and 12th certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Recent passport size photographs
  • Category Certificate if needed

  • Read the instructions to fill the application form carefully
  • Fill all the mandatory details
  • Upload the photo, signature and left hand thumb impression of the candidate
  • Pay the entrance fees using credit/debit cards or e challan
  • Submit the application
  • Have a copy for future reference
  • Provide valid mobile number and email address to communicate for further details

Exam date

Exam will be held in the month of May every year.
