Padmavathi, August 10, 1948; 4 s. and 1 d.: agriculturist: Gen. Secy., Nehru Forum from its beginning; Union Deputy Minister, Deptt. of Parliamentary Affairs, 1970-71; Member, Tobacco Board, December 1978; Member, (i) Legislative Assembly, Andhra Pradesh, 1955 to 1962; (ii) Fourth Lok Sabha, 1967-70, (iii) Fifth Lok Sabha, 1971-77 and (iv) Sixth Lok Sabha, 1977-79: Deputy Chief Whip. Congress Party in Lok Sabha, 1967-71; Member, (i) Committee on Public Undertakings, 1972-74; and (ii) Consultative Committee of Parliament on Defence, External Affairs and Commerce; presently Member, Committee on Private Members’ Billy and Resolutions; delegate to U.N.
