Shewli Daschowdhury, 1952; 1 s. and 1 d.; Lawyer; Previously associated with All India Forward Bloc; Resigned from the party after the dissolution of the Fourth Lok Sabha owing to differences in ideology and policy of the party; Editor of a Bengali Weekly ‘Jagaran’, 1959-64; Founder-Secretary, Cooch-Behar Evening College, 1963-65; Ex-General Secretary, All India Postal Employees Union Class IV, District Branch, Cooch-Behar; Ex-Vice-president, Jalpaiguri Division of the All India Postal Employees Union, Class IV; President, (i) N.F.
