Shrimati Sarla Das, 1947; Political worker and Journalist; Member, Communist Party of India since 1938; Member, Kisan Sabha, Orissa; Member, Trade Union Congress, Orissa; Member, Orissa State Committee of the Communist Party of India; Suffered imprisonment for political activities, 1940, 1942, 1948 and 1949-50.
