Bhahani Brahma Datta, 1969; Agriculturist was a Lecturer and Advocate; Founder: General Secretary of the Plains Tribals Council of Assam; Vice-President, Linguistic Minorities Rights Committee of Assam, 1972; Member, Assam Legislative Assembly, 1972—77.
Social activities: Devoted to the cause of socio-economic amelioration and political security of the plains tribals of Assam; dedicated to the cause of the Bodo language, literature and cultural life; also associated with many socio-cultural organizations of the plains tribals.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Socio-cultural activities for the tribals.
Publication: Was the Editor of the Bodo Journals, via. ‘The Bodo’ and ‘The Alari’.
