Shrimati Kiran Kumari Kalita, April 21, 1954; 2 s. and 1 d.; Political Worker; formerly associated with Congress as a student upto 1943; was a member of the Gauhati Local Board; was member, Gauhati University Court for six years.
Social activities: As Student Federation volunteer, served in Burma Refugee Camps in Pandu and in Gauhati in 1941, and during Bengal famine managed a destitute home at Gauhati in 1943-44,
Hobbies: Gardening.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Chess and reading books.
Sports: Badminton.
