Akhlima Khatwar; Agriculturist and Political and Social Worker; preward Bloc and Congress, 1952—77; went to jail in Forward Bloc Movement, 1942—45; General Secretary, Bihar State Forward Bloc, 1946; Member, viously associated with For All India Forward Bloc Executive Committee; General Secretary, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee, 1957; Chairman, Small-Scale Industries Corporation, Bihar Government; Member, Sugar Enquiry Commission; Secretary, Bihar J.W.C.; Member, Bihar State-Legislature, 1952—76; Member, Estimates Committee, July-August, 1977; Minister of State in the Ministry of Energy since August, 1977.
