Smt. Prabhawati H. Gokhale, 1 s. and 3 d.; Advocate; previously associated with Baroda Praja Mandal, P.S.P.; arrested and imprisoned for taking part in Quit India movement; took leading role in Trade Union activities; Member and later Vice-President of Baroda Municipality; Judge, High Court of Judicature at Bombay, July 62-July 66; appointed Minister of Law and Justice, Government of India in March, 1971.
