Social activities: Upliftment of the downtrodden and backward people of Konkan; Undertook the work of rural development like construction of roads by sharamdan; Constructed 200 houses for the destitute families affected by earthquake in Kenya with the help of Bharat Sewak Samaj; was instrumental in establishing 20 high schools in Ratnagiri District.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Reading.
Special interests: Redressing the grievances of the poor people; help and guide to educational institutions of rural areas.
Travels abroad: Yugoslavia and Saudi Arabia.
