School in 1940 and Maharaja Manimdra Chandra College, Calcutta, matriculate; m. Smt. Sarojini Kisku, 1946; Agriculturist; Primary Teacher, 1941-42, Assistant Member in the Civilian Personnel Office under the U.S.A. Air Force at Chakulia, Bihar during the Second World War, 1943-45, Government Service, 1946-55.

Favourite pastime and recreation:  Reading books and newspapers.

Special interests:  Writing poems.
