Rajamma, April 5, 1962; 2 s.; Political Worker; previously associated with Cochin State Prajamandal; was in Jail for three years, two years underground activities between 1948—54; Member, National Council of C.P.I, since 1978; State Secretary, All India Trade Union Congress; Office bearer, (i) All India Port Dock and Water-front Workers’ Federation since 1975 and (ii) All India Electricity Employees Federation since 1977; Member, Sixth Lok Sabha, 1977-79; also Member, (i) Committee on Government Assurances, 1977 and (ii) Consultative Committee, Ministry of Labour.
