Social activities: Was running a hostel for students at Bhandara rural area from 1947 to 1952; as a result of his resolution in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1956, the Government granted freeship upto Matric to the children of agriculturists having less than 20 acres of land.
Favourite pastime and recreation: Reading and Gardening.
