Accomplishment in letters, art and science:  Author of a number of literary works in Oriya such as lyrical poems, songs, plays, short stories and literary criticism; contributor of topical articles to English and Oriya periodicals.

Hobby:  Travels. 

Favourite pastime and recreation:  Bridge and indoor games.
