Social activities:  Guided all the farmers in Broach District in using new seeds and modern implements; Donated 400 acres of land for Bhoodan; Remitted Rs. 1 lac of debt of his tenants; Member, Western India Automobile Association, Bombay; Founder Member, Farmers’ Forum of India, Delhi; Founder President, Rotary Club of Broach; Founder Member and Trustee, National Rifle Association of India, Delhi; Vice-President, Gujarat State Rifle Association, Ahmedabad.

Hobbies:  Bridge, Motoring and Shikar.

Favourite pastime and recreation:  Rifle Clubs and Rifle shooting.

Sports and clubs:  Tennis, Football, Hockey, Cricket, Wrestling; Was (1) Tennis Champion, Gujarat College, Ahmedabad and Law College, Poona; (ii) Captain., Football, Hockey, and Wrestling Team etc.; (iii) Fast Cycling champion of Law College, Poona; and (iv) 22 Rifle Champion of Gujarat, 1963; Started 29 Rifle Clubs in Gujarat including M.L.A.’s Rifle Club, Ahmedabad; Was 12 Bore Gun Team Champion of India, 1958 at Bangalore; Founder Member, Cricket Club of India, Bombay; Life Member, Royal Western India Turf Club, Bombay.
