Bibi Jainab Khatoon; April 1, 1946; 2 s. and 4 d.; Agriculturist; previously associated with Congress; Chairman, Cooperative Societies and Agricultural Marketing Societies; President, West Bengal Backward Muslim Community; Member, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, 1962—67 presently Member, Rules Committee.

Social activities:  Established several educational institutions in the area and headed several of them in various capacities; helped in the work of rehabilitation of refugees and Adivasis since 1947.

Favourite pastime and recreation:  Reading newspapers, magazines, history and Rules and Regulations.
