Ambika Bhole, 1947; 1 s.; Former Judge, Maharashtra High Court, Bombay; presently Senior Advocate, Supreme Court; was with Mahatma Gandhi in his Wardha Ashram for one year; Member, (i) Law Commission of Maharashtra, 1977-80; and (ii) Backward Classes Commission, 1979—, Chairman, (i) Maharashtra Government Employees’ Second Pay Commission, 1975-76 and (ii) North Maharashtra University Commission, 1965: Founder Chairman, (i) Shalaka Co-operative Housing Society, Bombay 1975—and (ii) Ahilya Co-operative Housing Society, Pune, 1960-74; Chairman, People’s Education Society, Bombay, 1956; Member, Bombay Legislative Assembly, 1937—42; presently Member, Committee of Privileges, Represented Indian Labour as Trade Unionist at I.L.O.
