L. College and Yodha Singh Namdhari Mahila College; was Secretary, Japla Cement Factory Mazdoor Union; Member, Bihar State Legislative Assembly, 1957—77; was Deputy Minister in the State; Whip, Congress Legislature Party, Bihar till resignation from Congress; Representative of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions from Bihar to Asian Trade Union College.
