Professor in Law College, Jalgaon for 5 years; previously associated with Socialist Party since 1953; Life member, Bharat Krishak Samaj, Vice-President, K. Narkheda Vidyalaya, Bhusawal, Jalgaon District, ex-Vice-President, Jyoti Vidya Mandir, Sangavi Jalgaon District; Member, (i) Managing Committee, Khandesh Education Society, Jalgaon, (ii) Managing Committee, Tapi Valley Education Society, Faizpur, (iii) Managing Committee of Shikchan Mandir, Jalgaon; Member, Bombay Legislative Assembly, 1955-57; presently Member, Estimates Committee.
Social activities: Took leading part in the movement for eradication of Dowry System in Jalgaon District and organisation of Conference of Agriculturists on various questions.

Accomplishments in letters, art and science: Research on Micro-climate and sugarcane production leading to the confirmation of M.Sc. (Agri) Degree by Bombay University.
