Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M. Singh Bedi
Born on 9th October, 1956 at Chandigarh. Did M.Sc in the year 1977 and LL.B in the year 1980 from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Started practice in the year 1980 in Punjab and Haryana High Court and District Courts at Chandigarh. Practised in different fields of Law: Civil, Criminal, Service and Constitutional law. Selected in Superior Judicial Service in 1995 and remained posted as Additional District Judge at Sangrur and Moga. Became District and Sessions Judge in 2000 and was posted at Ferozepur. Remained posted as Registrar (Judicial) in Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh from 2003 to 2004. Was District and Sessions Judge, Chandigarh from 2005 to 31.03.2006. Elevated as Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court with effect from 01.04.2006. Justice Bedi is fond of golf, drawing, painting, dance and music.
